Join us for Sister Lit: A Book Club Celebrating Black Women Voices on May 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM, an intimate in-person gathering within Mocha Net where the power of individual connection and shared stories takes center stage. In this unique book club, each member is invited to bring a book of their choosing – by any author – that has particularly resonated with them. The "voices" we celebrate are the diverse perspectives of the women in our group as they share the books that have moved, inspired, or challenged them. During our time together, each person will have the opportunity to share insights, favorite passages, and the personal impact of their chosen book with the group. To further enrich our connection, each member will also bring a dish to share, creating a warm and communal atmosphere where personal literary journeys intertwine with shared nourishment. Prepare for an afternoon of engaging with a wide range of stories, hearing the unique voices of our members, and enjoying the fellowship of sisterhood over delicious food.
